Dr. Sarah Singer, DMD

Dr. Sarah Singer is a compassionate general dentist, choosing the field of dentistry to forge long-term relationships with patients. Dr. Singer takes the time to understand her patients’ needs and is committed to delivering quality care.

Dr. Singer received her doctorate at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated in the top 5 students in her class. At Harvard, Dr. Singer was the recipient of the Norman B. Nesbitt Award for Excellence in Clinical Dentistry. After finishing her dental degree, Dr. Singer completed a General Practice Residency at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center, where she refined her skills in implant placement, root canal therapy, oral surgery, and restorative dentistry. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Singer was born and raised in South Florida, but now enjoys NYC life. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants with her husband, and traveling.

Dr. Tandeep Malhotra, DDS.

Dr. Malhotra comes from a lineage of family dentists who have a proven record of delivering quality care to patients from all walks of life.

Dr. Malhotra completed his DDS from University at Buffalo, earning his degree with distinction. One of the most coveted and intense programs around the country, the DDS at Buffalo gave Dr. Malhotra the opportunity to work in an area facing a shortage of health professionals, where patients have little access to care. The unique challenges this presented prepared Dr. Malhotra to anticipate the different financial realities patients encounter, yet not compromising the quality of care they receive.

After his degree, Dr. Malhotra broadened his patient care experience by completing a two year residency program at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn, where he delivered dental care to patient with multiple medical conditions and special needs. Dr. Malhotra also engaged in research and teaching in the second year of residency, and currently continues his work as an attending doctor at the hospital training residents.

Committed to ensuring the best possible and most comprehensive care for his patients, Dr. Malhotra’s goal in his practice of dental medicine is also to ensure a pain and stress free experience for his patients. To this end, he has worked with superior practices and the leaders in the field of dentistry in Manhattan, where the doctors hold this philosophy close to their heart. Keeping himself abreast with advances in the field with continuing education courses, Dr. Malhotra looks forward to providing a quality service to all his patients.

Dr. Carletta Demetree, DDS

New to NYC, Dr. Carletta Demetree is a dentist practicing at Zen Dentistry. Currently, she resides in Manhattan, treating broken teeth, cavities, and dental pain.

Dr. Demetree received her formal education from the University of the Pacific, earning her dental degree. After leaving San Fransisco, Dr. Demetree practiced in California, before making the move to NYC!

She now works in both our downtown and midtown offices, specializing in patient care, extractions, and general care. She careful scrutinizes patients’ concerns, understands their symptoms, and helps them choose an appropriate form of treatment.

Dr. Minji Kim, DDS

Meet Dr. Minji Kim! Dr. Kim brings nearly 10 years of experience to Zen Dentistry. She received her education from the New York University College of Dentistry.

After graduating from dental school, she began working as an associate dentist in Massachusetts. A few years later, she returned to New York to be closer to her family and friends.

Dr. Kim enjoys providing dental care of all kinds, from general dentistry, restorative work, and aesthetic treatments, as well as Invisalign and endodontic treatments!

She continues her education by attending dental education seminars and hands-on courses so she’s always current with the latest in dentistry.

Currently, Dr. Kim is a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, Ninth District Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, and Massachusetts Dental Society.

Arshjot Ahuja, DDS, FICOI, is a leading dentist in Los Angeles and New York, with locations in Long Beach, Culver City, and Rancho Cucamonga, and one of Southern California’s most qualified dentists.

Dr. Ahuja grew up in Los Angeles, where he spent the bulk of his time at his father’s dental practice. After graduating from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, with a bachelor’s degree, Dr. Ahuja followed in the footsteps of both his father and his older sister to become a dentist, receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco.

After dental school, Dr. Ahuja completed a general practice residency in New York City at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital, where he received further education on trauma, sedation, and surgical procedures. He then completed a rigorous program in implant placement training at New York University. His education in implants continued when he was named the youngest fellow ever elected to the International Congress of Oral Implantology, an organization founded and run by the world’s foremost experts in dental implants.
Dr. Ahuja is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and almost a dozen other dental professional fellowships and associations. In addition to his education and fellowships, Dr. Ahuja has been named an Elite provider by Invisalign.

Dr. Sung Hyon Han, DMD

After graduating, Dr. Han completed a 1-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery fellowship at University of Illinois Chicago. He then moved to New York to further pursue his specialty in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Han served as a chief resident at Montefiore Medical Center, Hackensack University Medical Center and St. Luke’s University Hospital in Lehigh Valley, where he received extensive training in all facets of oral surgery. His expertise and interest lie in dentoalveolar surgery, dental implantology, and in-office anesthesia.
